Assignments:

Bible: Bible memory verses will be sent home about twice a month. They can be found in your child's penguin notebook. The due date will be written directly on the memory verse.

Math: Your child will have a math homelink to complete most nights. This review of the day's lesson should be returned to school the next morning. Students should also study addition and subtraction math facts each night.

Reading: Students should spend about 20 minutes reading each night. This reading should be recorded on the reading log that can be found in your child's penguin notebook.
- Spelling: Your child will be bringing his/her new spelling words home most Fridays. The word sort should be cut out and placed in the zipper pencil pouch found inside his/her penguin notebook for Moday's spelling group. The test for these words will be on the following Friday.
