I hope you are having a great time! I have been doing many things. I love the time I have had with my family, but I look forward to spending the next school year with you!
I have spent a lot of time praying about what our theme and verse for the year should be. I keep coming back to the importance each of has in the life of others and that together we are a community of believers. With that in mind I have chosen a verse from Romans “Live in harmony with one another.” Romans 12:16. As you read your books about peace making, keep this verse in mind and what it means to you. If you have misplaced your assignment, you can find it at the bottom of this page under "attachments" and "summer project".
On Wednesday, September 22nd, you will be presented with a Bible during our Bible Presentation Ceremony. Your parents are invited to attend the short program at 8:45 am in the gym.
I know that some of you are eager to get your school supplies ready for your first day, so here is a list of things you will need to bring along:
3-ring binderwith zipper and pockets inside. You will use it for both 4th and 5th grade. Mark separate sections for:
Reading Social Studies Science
Language Arts Math Bible
Writing Journal: It may be as simple as a spiral notebook, or a hardback journal. It is up to you. Hopefully, it will inspire the writer in you!
Scissorsstrong enough to cut both cardboard and fabrics

Smallpencil box to keep things organized in your desk.
