I was born in: Baltimore City, Maryland.
I grew up in: Catonsville, MD. I am the oldest of 5 children.  Catonsville is just outside of Baltimore City.
My interests include: my husband, Jon, and our three children (Andrew, Steven, Matthew), going to the beach, reading and gardening.
I enjoy: learning about Child development and new strategies to use in my teaching.

JACQUE RODGERS, FIRST GRADE

I was born in: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
I grew up in: Broomall, Pennsylvania.
My interests include: my husband Ed, my children and granddaughters, reading, sewing, and watching the goldfinch and butterflies come to our butterfly garden.
Little known fact about me: One of my grandparents four generations back was an American Indian.
I enjoy: spending time with my husband Ed and our family, learning about animals (it is a joy to see the fascinating animals that God has created), learning all I can about Literacy.

CHERYL LEAMAN, THIRD GRADE

I was born in: Portland, Maine.
I grew up in: Brownstown, PA. I lived in Indianapolis, IN in voluntary service with MBM (twice); lived in Hazard, KY while in voluntary service with MCC. Both times I worked with children.
My interests include: counted cross stitch, Sudoku, reading, cooking and baking, other countries and their cultures.
Little known fact about me: I've traveled to Spain, France, Mexico, Israel and Greece.
I enjoy: spending time with family and friends; playing with my pets; learning about health, first aide and emergency care; exploring topics that capture my interest; kayaking and hiking; playing guitar and piano.

My interests include: playing and coaching softball, hunting, fishing, playing sports, collecting baseball memorabilia.

I was born: just outside of Westminster, Maryland.
I grew up: on a dairy farm in Bachman's Valley, Maryland (a few miles from Westminster).
My interests include: music, gardening and travel.  My husband, Tom, is a church organist and a pastor.  We have two children, a son, Austin, who is married and living in New York City and a daughter, Johanna, who is teaching orchestra and strings at Elizabethtown High School.
I enjoy: spending time with my family.
