Family: My husband Keith and I live in New Holland. Our son Austin is a student at Taylor University, IN
My interests include: being outdoors working in my flower & vegetable garden, camping & traveling, reading and creating "gourmet" foods that challenge my cooking skills
Little known fact about me: One of my favorite trips was spending a week on a Navajo reservation in Window Rock, Arizona.
I enjoy: learning about U.S. history (especially local history), reading historical fiction and biographies

I was born: at home in a farmhouse in East Earl, Lancaster County.
My interests include: music (singing and listening), walking and reading.
Little known fact about me: Singing is one of my gifts that I enjoy sharing in groups and worship teams.

Ruth Leaman, Director of Advancement
I grew up: at Reba Place Fellowship, an intentional community in Evanston, Illinois. This was a dynamic and wonderful environment to be a part of.
My interests include: meeting and engaging with people, and finding ways to build relationships with HMS. I am energized by people.
I enjoy learning about: the global community and ways in which we can have more interaction and relationship with our global neighbors.
Education: I studied math and accounting at Goshen College, and University of Illinois at Chicago. I worked in public accounting before becoming involved with development work.

I grew up: on a dairy farm near Johnstown, Pennsylvania and attended Johnstown Christian School.
My interests include: reading, knitting, scrapbooking, playing board or card games.
I enjoy: spending time with my children, reading, playing games, going to the park, and visiting family.
Interesting fact about me: I once unexpectedly shared a hotel room with a famous female poet from Eritrea (on the east coast of Africa).
