Clair Sauder

Clair Sauder, Chairman

The HMS community warmly welcomes Clair Sauder back to the school board. He and his wife, Nancy, were patrons at the school in the late 1980's and early 90's, during which time Clair served as a Board Chair. The Sauder's two sons (Michael and Tim) are both graduates of HMS. The Sauder family are active members of Neffsville Mennonite Church, where Clair teaches Sunday school and leads singing. Mr. Sauder is a Certified Financial Planner at MMA-Sauder Financial. He also serves on the board of directors of No Longer Alone Ministries, a ministry of support to individuals experiencing mental illness, and their families. In his free time, Clair likes to read, travel, visit with friends.  He serves on the Committee on Trustees.

Melissa Hurst

Melissa Hurst, Vice Chair

Melissa Hurst and her husband Nevin live in East Earl with their four children. Emma is in sixth grade at HMS, Alarie is in fourth grade, Madalyn is in second and Paul is in Kindergarten. The Hursts attend Weaverland Mennonite Church. Melissa has a BS in Elementary Education from Messiah College, an MA in Education from EMU and a Reading Specialist Certification. She taught 6th grade at Kraybill Mennonite School. Melissa is a homemaker and a Creative Memories Consultant. She brings her experience in education to the board and serves on the Advancement Committee.

Kendall Reiff

 

Kendall Reiff, Treasurer

Kendall Reiff and his wife, Joleen, are parents to Bailey (fourth grade) and Carson (first grade). The Reiff family are members at Petra Christian Fellowship. Mr. Reiff is the Vice-President at Hibshman's Auto Service, Inc., and in his free time enjoys golfing and being at the mountains. Kendall appreciates the small, close-knit community and caring dedicated staff of HMS. Kendall chairs the Finance Committee.

 

Jennifer Morales, Secretary

Jen Morales and her husband Everardo live in New Holland with thier three children.  Karina is in eighth grade, Kylah in fifth grade and Evan in second grade at Hinkletown.  They attend New Holland Mennonite Church where Jen is an Elder of Witness, teaches yound adults and is on the Worship Team.  Jen works at New Holland Early Learning Center as a teacher in the toddler room.  Jen serves on the Advancement Committee.

Kent Martin

Kent Martin

Kent Martin and his wife Cindy, are parents to Braydon (grade seven), Colton (grade five), Kelsey and Marshall. The Martin family are members at Weaverland Mennonite Church. Kent serves as President/CEO of Signature Custom Cabinetry. In his free time, he enjoys helping Cindy on their horse farm, as well as participating in 4-H and western rodeo events, hunting and fishing with their four children. Kent also has an interest in travel.  He chairs the Committee on Trustees.

Daryl Eshleman

Daryl and Cheryl Eshleman have been patrons at HMS for 10 years and have four children:  Matthew (grade 9), Emily (grade 4), Lauren (grade 2), and James (kindergarten). Cheryl taught music at HMS from 1992-1997, and Daryl sings in a barbershop quartet. Daryl is a CPA and partner at Hershey Advisors, PC and serves on the HMS Scholarship and Finance Committees. 

   
Earl Weaver

Earl Weaver

Earl Weaver and his wife, Marilyn, are founding members of the school and HMS warmly welcomes Earl back to the school board.  Earl and Marilyn are parents of four grown children, all of whom are graduates of HMS.  Earl and Marilyn attend Weaverland Mennonite Church.  Earl brings experience as a business owner and pastor, and perspective as a grandparent, to his board service. He serves on the Building and Facilities Committee and chairs the Advancement Committee.

Curtis Musser

Curtis Musser

Curtis and his wife, Diana, live in New Holland. They have two children at HMS, Julia is in fifth grade and Hayden is in third grade. They attend Good Shepherd Community Church in Reamstown. Curtis is a Hesston College and Eastern Mennonite University graduate and completed an MBA from Eastern University in the spring of 2008. He works as a financial consultant for AXA Advisors, LLC in Lancaster. Curtis serves on the Advancement Committee.


Keith Brubacher

Keith Brubacher and his wife, Ronda, are parents to Savanna in sixth grade, Sierra in third grade and Clark, age four.  They are members of Bowmansville Mennonite Church.  Keith is the president of Brubacher Excavating Inc.  Keith enjoys woodworking, landscaping and "bringing new life to old things."  

Floyd Zook

Floyd and Kim Zook have four children enrolled at HMS:  Mitchell (grade 7), Brandon (grade 3), Mackenzie (grade 2), and Connor (grade 1).  Floyd is president of Zook Interiors, LLC and chairs the HMS Building Committee. The Zook family attends Good Shepherd Community Church in Reamstown.
