Special Giving Project - Supporting Technology Improvements at HMS!

  • Each year at the Auction, a special giving project is chosen that highlights a tangible need for our school program and students.  Last year, donations enabled us to purchase new playground equipment and a gaga court, both of which are much safer and exciting for our students!

  • This year our Special Giving Project will fund technology for our classrooms. One of our strategic goals for school improvement is to strengthen our integration of technology use in the learning process so that we can facilitate more student-centered learning, can teach skills in using 21st centure educational tools, and so we can encourage connections to our global community within a safe learning environment.  The very simple addition of LCD projectors to the classrooms would be a tremendous step in that direction.

  • Our goal is to raise $14,000 toward the purchase of LCD projectors and about five iPads for teacher-use in instruction.

  • You can donate to this project directly at the Special Giving Project stand at the auction, by adding a donation to your auction bill at check-out, or by sending your contribution directly to the school marked for the 2013 Special Giving Project.

  • Thank you in advance for helping to promote this important initiate and auction giving project!
